$500-$900. It's been dumped and the rom is out there but it is a proto of an unreleased game so...

Is $500-900 based on other similar titles? I understand that it would be rarer if the ROM wasn't dumped but if it's authentic and wasn't officially released, could it be worth more?

Just trying to get a base point. Supposedly it's actually a good game too.

I have the same prototype, and would sell it right now if someone offered me $900.

Being that it's dumped and there's more than one copy out there, you're not likely to see too much more than that. Great prototype to have though, and I've certainly enjoyed owning mine.

Edit to add:  I wouldn't hesitate to spend $5,000 had the game been undumped.  The distribution of the rom completely changes it's worth.

I wish I had more information on it. I've read from a few sources only 2 prototypes exist. I'd like to know. If someone offered me $900 I would probably take it too. It's rare but it's hard to value something like this. I'd like to think that even if the ROM was released, the original would be worth more.

It's not too hard to value the game.  There have been plenty of similar sales over the years, so you can get a pretty good idea of what it will sell for.  On eBay at open auction, you're looking at $500-$1,000.

Rarity and value dont always go hand and hand.  There are very few people actively collecting unreleased prototypes, and even fewer interested in a game that's been dumped and distributed.

I believe I paid $500 for my copy, and like I said before I would have gladly paid $5,000 had the game been undumped.
