Can NA Beat Every N64 Game in a Year? (2013) Thanks for playing - hopefully the 2014 torch-carrier doesn't suck as badly as the 2013 one! - 138/296 (47.0%)

I'm coming to the conclusion there is no set "beat" for this game. You can complete a series and get the cup but the game doesn't even save the progress of the cup it saves the fastest times for the laps with a memory card if you have one if not well it doesn't do anything other than go yay you just wanted 2 hours on a racer where to win you hold A.

I'd say that beating it would consist of finishing the 250cc Combined Series and getting the cup, that's all. It was kind of similar with Polaris SnoCross except that it shows which cups you've won.

Then it is beaten, got first in every race.

I finally beat Mission: Impossible! This game was a lot more challenging than I thought but worth your time if you've never played it.

I just finished MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero last night. It's not my favorite MK game (UMK3 ftw imo) but I enjoyed it.

Congrats on beating the 100th game for the thread! We are getting there but there's definitely a lot of challenging titles ahead.

Good sir I have something to ask you! I've 100%ed Gex before, but the remote above the final boss doesn't show up as being collected. Does it show up as being collected for you, or is my copy glitched?

And for this thread I have beaten Scooby Doo Classic Creep Capers:

I played through all 4 stages and it was definitely a fun little game.

BITD, that was the first game I ever rented and I couldn't make it past the first stage.

Shew, been a while for me. Not enough time to beat these games Anyhow, I finished Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, so you can tick that off the list.

Yeah it has slowed down a little bit. Looks like there is a three-way tie for the the top spot right now! Good chance for any of you to push ahead.

Every time I beat an n64 game I get excited until I come in here and find out somebody else has already beaten it. It's already done, but I beat Banjo Tooie too. For the first time even! Wish they hadn't inverted the Y axis for first person mode and made it so I couldn't switch it. That always infuriates me. Otherwise it's a pretty great game.

dballin: Sorry to take Tooie from ya, but it's been years since I passed it. Had such a blast playing it.

dialupgamer: If I am not mistaken you get kind of a congratulations or something after beating a year? That should count for our purposes.

Star Wars Battle For Naboo is complete. It wasn't as fun as Rogue Squadron but the graphics were better. I wish there would just be a SW game that allowed you to play as any of the original characters, working through episodes IV - VI...basically the best aspects of SWBFII + SWKotOR + Rogue Squadron.

Unrelated...I'm finally adult Link in OoT! I have 9 heart pieces, about 25 gold skulls, hookshot, beans, boomerang, Epona, OoT, Dins fire, Farore's wind, etc...still have plenty of side questing to do. I love this game even though it gets put on my back burner quite often.

I've been meaning to try Star Wars Battle for Naboo. The game does start off by having the logo squish Jar Jar Binks. That's a good start right there.

I defeated the story mode on Normal in Dr. Mario with both characters, and I unlocked both of the hidden characters this way. I then beat the story mode again on hard. I've also played the hell out of all the other modes in this game. Here's a random screenshot of the credits:

Apparently disappearing for many a-month means Mog has beaten everything I showed up to claim.

Well, except Harvest Moon 64 and Mischief Makers. The first complete through every year without the farm being looked at with grave disappointment, or being destroyed by typhoons. Well, the first part is true. Stupid typhoons. Play about 4 years game-time every year anyway,  so that all worked out nice

Mischief Makers just completed, very few S Ranks as, after so many years, I still suck.

Yeah. That's about it for 4 odd months of 64 gaming. Aside from Mystical Ninja and various other completed things. Yes.

EDIT: Guess Mischief Makers was already done too. So..I dunno how I missed that. Guess I could pull out some non-finished things and give them a go
