I'm not sure if it's just an emulator issue or what, but mine crashed when I had the extra ball going on the same screen. The same thing happened to me the last time we played this in the weekly contests too.

Yes, that is the most effective way to get back up on the playfield.

But there doesn't appear to be a way to guarantee that you'll have enough speed on the left flipper when it gets there.

And you risk hitting one of the drains while you juggle the ball to get it back to the right for another attempt.



The lower screen is absolutely brutal on this game.

Ugh, I'm not confident after seeing all these good scores from people outside my tier! No time for me to play tonight but I hope to be at it again tomorrow.

As far as the toilet goes, yeah it really sucks. But I was able to keep juggling the ball through the loop for a long time in my run yesterday. It helped that I had the left drain plugged up.

Yeah, but that "plug" only lasts for one encounter, and I find the right drains to be absolutely brutal.

Not being able to nudge the table on this makes it absolutely merciless.



It's like the designer thought bumping the table was cheating, when it is actually a fundametal part of playing good pinball.





In terms of confidence... we know CLAYB1RD's score from the last time this game was played was bigger than BriGuy's current high... but that doesn't mean it is easily repeated.

We know nothing of Balloon_Kid's scoring on this one.

I hinted earlier that I was in your ballpark right now, so we are neck-and-neck.



That said, I'm impressed as hell at how well everybody is doing on this game.
It could really go any direction in any of the tiers right now.

How could we forget the Ultimate Warrior, the official tournament mascot.
And no, you will never see him wearing an ascot.
You see, he is the embodiment of a manly man,
So he will never wear pink, cry like a baby, or drive a minivan*.
He is over 6 feet and 275 lbs. of pure grit and muscle.
Yikes, that is a man with whom I would not want to tussle.
He could probably easily snap me over his knee,
To which I would promptly wail like a banshee.
His high-energy entrances are enough to get any gamer pumped,
But if you don’t share that energy, from this tournament you’re likely to get bumped.
 
 
*No offense to those who drive a minivan.  It just worked for the rhyme.

I don't like holding out to the end either, but I need to quit giving Commander_Santa motivation. I swear every time I post a new score he turns right around and beats it. It's giving me flashbacks from playing against Tom (rdrunner) in the tournaments.

Great scores everyone so far. I'm really glad BriGuy got moved up to Tier 1, I don't think I could touch that score.

With that said, I just updated my own score to over 4M. I had 3 extra shots on my last ball and almost got a 4th, couple that with getting cherries three different times and a 4x multiplier on one of my turns, it was an insane run, at least for my standards. I still expect Guts to beat it within 24hrs to reclaim the tier lead, but for now I'll take a break

Don't count on me being much competition, I stink at pinball games.  Played three games last night, and my highest score was 200K and change.  I'm hoping to get into the millions by the weekend, we'll see.

The only thing I count on in these weekly contests and tournaments is that the talented gamers that play in them will put up inspiring scores.

holy crap these scores! Amazing. I think I need to try again this week but its soo frustrating not being able to bump the table.

It looks like I'll need at least 2 mil or better to survive to the next round.

Just played roughly about a 2 hour game. Had over 5 million on my first ball. My last 2 balls got drained in literally less than 30 seconds. I could absolutely see myself putting up close to 10 million if I could just put together a couple of decent balls. The only problem is the amount of time that type of game might take to complete, this game takes forever!

Everyone is crushing it this week! I'll try to better my score in a little bit. I need to pick up a cart of this. It's too fun not to own a physical copy. I also wouldn't mind if we played this every season.

Damn, nice score man.  I'm pretty sure you're in good shape to advance.  I'll still be playing, but I'm unsure if I can outdo my current score. 

It's looking like at least 3M is needed  for advancement in our tier and maybe in any, and I may be putting that low.

LMAO! Sorry guys it was the fastest my 2 balls had ever been drained, thats for sure. I guess I started the game off a little to strong maybe? I have to learn to pace myself.

I'd imagine that getting drained that fast is disappointing for everybody involved.  Pacing is absolutely key.

The funniest part may have been the at the end of the sentence.
