I've heard this game is kind of hard to find as a gray cartridge. In North America it was more commonly black. I think colored carts are easier to find as gray in PAL regions though. I'm not really interested in it's value, but how rare this is.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's somewhat common, so take this thread lightly please.

In other words "very very rare"

Local game shop has 2 gray carts and 1 black one, both are priced the same. I see both carts pretty regular at most of my shops I go to.

That's the first time I've seen a grey one though so I too assumed it was rarer than the black ones

^it may be rarer than the black, the first copy I got was gray, only until I bought a small lot of games at a yard sale a couple months ago I thought it only came in gray. But then again I never really paid close attention to it til then.

Hmm, I figured it was probably going to be nothing special since all I had to go on was just hearsay. Thanks for the help at least. I think it's pretty cool anyway.

It probably is slightly rarer than the black one, but not enough to command a premium in terms of value.

I've seen more Black carts than normal Grey carts, but like Jone said, not enough to actually value it more.

Check out this really awesome WTB thread that I found, I heard this guy wants games at the cheapest rate possible!  Now on the look out for Unlicensed NES!

Pretty sure the gray cart is from the million seller version.

Ehh no value more than the black one. Same can be said with that excellent conversion of Hydro Thunder on N64 too as it was originally blue, then later on they did gray copies too.

Except my copy doesn't say "Player's Choice" or anything (which is what Nintendo uses for games that sell over a million copies).

Thanks for all the help guys. I still think it's pretty neat. I've never often seen this game in gray.

I thought it was a Million Seller too, but there is no Million Seller logo on the label which I find to be odd. However after checking eBay it looks as if none of the gray Turok 2's have the million seller logo. Very strange considering almost all other Million Seller cartridges have that logo on the cart label.

Turok 2 is the exception.  None of them have it.
