DvD Translations released a translation patch for "Dragon Slayer Jr.: Romancia", a classic Famicom RPG. He achieved something that a lot of people didn't think would be possible: He implemented a variable width font on a NES game. What that means is that he made the game display a font with letters which arent restricted to 8x8 sprites.



While his hack works in emulators, he has no idea if it'll work on real hardware. That's where YOU come in! If you have a PowerPak and it supports the MMC3 mapper, you can test the game!

If you know how to patch games and whatnot, please help him out. If the hack works on real hardware, then it can be implemented in more games, and that's always a good thing.
