I'm just bumping this topic because I got another PM asking if I add $2 for shipping to the price.
---------
The price guide controls for "padded shipping," which is NOT an actual shipping cost. The prices you see in the guide are "ready to use" and don't need additional modification. I'll explain.
It costs anyone $2 to walk to the post office and ship a loose game via first class mail.
Most sellers charge the $4 maximum allowed by eBay in that category.
This extra $2 goes right into the seller's pocket, and therefore needs to be added to the price guide. Otherwise you have games that seem to sell for only a penny.
For instance, if a copy of Major League Baseball sells for $1.00, and the shipping is $4, it's logical to say the actual price of the game is $3 since the customer paid a total of $5, but only $2 went to cover S+H costs. The seller "padded" the shipping price to avoid eBay's fees. It's a financially motivated (if confusing) practice and certainly within eBay policy, but it also needs to be controlled for otherwise my guide will be inaccurate.
