Ugh, I may end up having to play on an emulator. I can't find a functioning copy anywhere for some reason. Why did mine have to die!? D:
You sure it's dead?  I lost my Ogre Battle saves recently, but it appears to have been a one-time thing (perhaps I bumped the console while it was saving or something)

I played up to Candy, saved, turned it off and on, and my save was gone. Repeated this a few times over the first few days after it happened. I'll try again tonight, maybe it's an anomaly or something. I've not touched the cartridge at all for legit 10-15 years, and it's my own original that was purchased new, so... yeah, I feel like it's odd that the battery would be dead.

I'll try again though. I'd really prefer to play on the SNES, rather than on the PC, especially since I'd then have to use my XBOne controller.

So, anyone played Kirby's Dream Course yet?

-------------------------
Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

-
Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

Made it through the first course with my daughter, then we shut it off.  I am still hoping to make it through the game but don't foresee a gold medal on everything, especially with so many terrible shots!

My plan is to do my single run of DKC to 101%, and then move on to Kirby.

Not sure if I understand the controls yet as I only played one play through. Got a gold Medal on first hole and downhill from there lol.

I hope to get something posted this weekend. I have never played before the contest and played a couple of holes before I realized I needed to figure out the controls better.

I will get something thrown up this weekend as well.

I was finally able to play some donkey kong. That was the first time playing it in almost 20 years and the first time going for 101%. I'm sure I can get under an hour. Cranky did it and he only used one life. He said so himself after the game.

Also played Kirbys Dream course for the first time. Got gold on the first course. Good enough for one night.

just a question. Are the pictures I posted or Mr Peapod posted of Kirby correct? Your descriptions says the course ranking screen. Thats what I did. His are the result screen.

Wanted to know which ones you meant. I thought they showed gold medals and such on the ranking screen for the course not the results screen. Just need clarification.

Either is fine.  Yours are what I asked for, but with his I can still see total strokes so using the table above I can tell what golds he did or didn't get

They both were hard. Had a hard time with that tornado ability. I need to read up on the controls. Ive freestyled on the fly with them so far. Just using previous golf game experience lol.

I have a hard time figuring out the tornado too. I can never figure out if I'm suppose to go left or right. It has a mind of it's own when you first power up.

I love Kirby's Dream Course but I don't think I'd do so well here.   DKC, on the other hand...

That was back 2007 before I realized that the Funky Flights barrel worked because it was only one map entity for both Kongs. All I had to do was lose a Kong to skip to Orang-u-tan Gang after the first stage! The upload date is incorrect (it shows the date that google merged my old Google Video uploads into my YouTube account).

Playing right now if you want to watch:

Edit: Done at 101%, 1:11, with plenty of opportunity to improve. Wasn't supposed to be a perfect run. Heck, a few resets could've shaved several minutes.   Now streaming some Tetris Attack with Ichinisan.

Edit 2:
Done. Finished S-Hard with no continues and maxed the score in Endless mode. Stream closed.

Updated my scores for Kirbys Dream Course.

Here's my medals if anyone is interested. I'm not sure how long I'm going to grind away to get all golds. I really want to get under an hour on donkey kong first.

I'll accept your submission as I watched a good portion of it.  But going forward I'm going to need pics with your name, since everyone else is held to that standard
