I hate to admit this, I just moved from there and no.... If I were you I would get some great food and maybe hit up a casino. Not trying to ruin the experience but I never found one I could fall in love with.

La grand orange ( great pizza)
chelsea's kitchen - great everything a little more pricy
lolo's chicken and waffles

Looking for Nintendo signage/cabinets!!!

I have Exertainment Lifecycle 9xs for sale. Looking for NWC/low serial number SNES/NES and authorized repair center items.

Fallout Games in Tempe is pretty Awesome! First legitimate Neo Geo Console I have ever seen on a store shelf, found 2 of the last 4 NGPC game CIB I needed for cheap before I completed the set. They as well have tons of other collectables and CIB's though for most things expect eBay pricing.

Do we have game sotres here? Yes. are they amazing game stores? Not so much.
I'll agree with Abstract Fallout Games in tempe is pretty awesome along with the other 2 Fallout locations, those are the best you're going to get. another good one though is Game Over Games in Collectors Marketplace the people who own it are pretty cool.

I agree with the Fallout recommendations. I've never been to the Tempe location, but the locations on Bell Road and Tatum & Thunderbird have been good with me. You could also look at Bookman's (locations in Phoenix and Tempe) as well as Zia records (multiple locations around). Prices at all these places leave things to be desired, but they're still nice to experience and browse.
