I find it funny that the last level is basically the first level of Lifeforce.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

Updated Gradius III score:  301,800

By far my best run in this game ever. The "reduce" ability served me ridiculously well and with this run, it was the first upgrade I made after "speed up" and allowed me to dodge everything so much easier. Once I was fully "optioned" and "reduced" it was really just a matter of dodging enemy fire. I thought I was doing super well until this damn plant boss got the better of me. The whole "vacuum attack" caught me off-guard and sucked me into enemy fire. The second life was a complete waste since I couldn't even upgrade once before dying. But anyway, I'm enjoying this game a whole lot more that I kind of understand the flow of it!

Updated my score. I know I can loop this game at least twice if I can just quit with the stupid deaths.

Just updated my gradius score for the last time this month. Not good enough for first but I'm proud of how far I've come with that game.

I added a Bust-A-Move score to my score post since I finally got somewhere in that game. It trolls the hell out of you with the bubbles you get. Not a whole lot of fun.

If it makes you feel any better, I couldn't even beat the first level in Gradius 3.

Updated my score-post on page 1.

Despite the fact that I don't think I'm very good at all at either game, I had fun challenging myself to get better. Both games are excellent in their underlying game play, even if they get punishing very quickly. I've easily spent more time with these two games this past month than I have in the last 15 years.

This is true for me as well! I had a ton of fun and while it looks like I've fallen a few places on Bust-A-Move, I intend to continue putting up a good showing for shmups going forward! Really excited to see how Donkey Kong will work, haven't played that in forever!

Posted scores page 1. Thought I would have more time to play this month but was too busy. Only gave Gradius III 2 runs and had to use BaM score from earlier in the month when I gave it a run. When did the rules for BaM change?

Happy I was at least able to post scores for both games

Bust a Move changed when it became a lame learn how to point farm attempt instead of progressing in the game. It changed about a couple weeks ago . Progession with high score tie breaker made it alot more fun to try

Yeah, I thought so, too. I hated trying to play for points. I did a lot better playing for progress because I could just focus on clearing the levels.

Unfortunately last time I checked this thread was when Brock said we were sticking with the rules. I absolutely should have checked the thread again before 9pm tonight lol. I agree progression is the way to go in BaM.

This month will be interesting for sure. I have never played Kirby’s Dream Course so we shall see.

Interested to see how next
