The past for days I have been catalouging my NES collection. I seen some posts on this site regarding 100% complete games.

What I've found so far is great, but the information I've found is missing some games in my collection. I was wondering if anyone here knows with complete certainty how to make the following games 100% complete:

PussNBoots
Kung-Fu (Round Nintendo Seal Version)
The Guardian Legend
Totally Rad
Hogan's Alley (3 screw cartridge version)
Journey to Silius
Disney's The Little Mermaid

Any help would be appreciated.

Some games can be tricky. For example the 1st print may have nothing and the 2nd print may have a poster. Or the 1st print may have one poster and the 2nd print another. So yeah, it requires patience.

I highly recommended Wiz's NES Game Contents list as a starting point. It's a list of sealed games that were opened. It contains all the contents that came with the game and since the games were sealed, it's 100% CIB. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/nes...

NG III should have:

-Manual
-Danger Do Not Open NP Insert
-Gray Epilepsy Warning Sheet
-Tecmo Games...HARD TO BEAT! Insert
- Flat Black Dust Sleeve.

DD II should have:

-Manual
-One of the 8 1989 NP inserts
-Poster
-Registration Card
-Flat Black Dust Sleeve

Thanks Austin.

I've already looked at the Wiz's NES Game Contents guide before making my initial post. It's a great resource, but it has many missing games.

Do you have any idea in particular which of the 1989 NP inserts Double Dragon II is supposed to have? I want to be as accurate as possible.

This is an amazing resource. Thanks a lot for sharing. If you were to find your game doesn't have a poster or something like that, where would you go to get info on various prints?

Edit: Or do you just skip all that and try to find the item to complete it

Edit 2: Do you know of a similar list for SNES?

I didn't see double dragon 2 on the list, but here is a shot of everything in mine. I bought this from a collector who was auctioning off all his cib nes collection. Everything was mint and appeared 100% complete, i.e. every box contained multiple inserts, lots of posters, etc. It all went for way over GVN prices including this.

Usually ebay is a good source for CIB pics.

There is no SNES Contents list AFAIK but almost every SNES game listed on this site has a photo showing a 100% cib game.

I really couldn't tell you for sure. It all depends on the date the game was made. I've seen DD II with at least 4-5 different inserts (all from 1989). It was a very popular game so I imagine the game was in print for awhile. The '89 inserts are the most convoluted for sure.

Thanks NESFiend for taking that picture.

And yes, Austin is right, you can search for SNES games in the database and most of them will have a picture of 100% complete version of the game and additional photos for the inserts as well.

I only wish the NES database had these kind of pictures.

Any NES/SNES game that is sealed and is under $100 is worth opening IMO. That's less than retail value if you factor in inflation. That's what I do although I have opened $300 games before just to have a mint one.

Little Nemo came with a Mega Man sticker but good luck finding that. If you do it's probably going to cost around $30 by itself. No joke. This is everything it came with minus the sticker.

Thanks again Austin.

I'm deleting the titles off my original post as I find out what makes them 100% complete.

Does anyone have any ideas about the remaining ones on the list?

Totally Rad should have:

- Manual (NES-6T-USA)

- Jaleco registration card (JAL-NES-US-3)
- Black dust sleeve

Thanks Psionic!

Were you able to confirm these by opening up sealed versions of these games?

Unfortunately I did not, but I also like my games to be 100% complete and do keep track of this kind of stuff. The pictures I posted are from recent eBay listings but they are exactly what my personal copies of those titles contain, for whatever that's worth. I've never really seen Silius come with anything else and I've owned Totally Rad since I received it new shortly after the game's release. The latter may have come with some type of warning sheet also but I really can't remember.
