Hey, my grandfather has every issue (from a certain date) of National Geographic magazine, bound. (Meaning they look like books). I'm sure he's got every one since the 50's or something like that. Does anybody know if there is any value to these? My dad said he wanted to throw them out, and I was like "No, there's got to be SOME value to them."

I don't know much about value of these, I am sure there is some.  If nothing else, before they were thrown out, it might be good to see if a library or a local univeristy would be interested in taking them.  Libraries might have all of these on CD now, not sure.

yeah, I'm sure you're right that there's got to be SOME value in it. As a last resort you could stick it on ebay with a starting price of 99 cents

I would just throw them on ebay would be worth the 30 cent listing fee as opposed to trashing them

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

I bet you could get a couple hundred from the right buyer. Someone who maybe threw them away long ago and wishes they didn't.
