Hello there!  I may be receiving a COMPLETE copy of Little Samson (NTSC).  This is basically the holy grail of NES, and I need to make sure everything is legit.  The chip is legit inside, but I want to be sure the cart is not a repo.

It has a backing like this copy in this listing does:

I just have concerns because this backing (in the listing, and on the one that I am thinking of purchasing, has the shorter text, and not the typical English/ French one that other sites show in the LS backing.  I just need to make sure if this backing is also legit, or if this means it's a repo cart.

If you're buying it from Craigslist, don't bother as it's a known scam.

Are you purchasing this from craigslist via PayPal? There's been a lot of cib copies of of it on craigslist and it's a scam. I would be very careful

As I was reading posts from a day ago, there is one about the guy in Michigan for $350 that I was looking at buying.. seems to be a scam. Haha.. ahhh pipe-dreams.
People said it was a known scam and he's been at it for a while. That idiot.

The guy is listing it on Craigslist all over the country so if you are buying a complete copy of Little Samson for $350 then it is a scam. Otherwise, yes Little Samson was made with both types of back labels.

I figured it was a scam right away when I said "hey i'll make the three hour drive to get this ASAP", in which is said he was busy and couldn't meet, and "let's just go over paypal".

The game was too enticing though, so I had to ponder on it all day. I finally know it's a scam for sure, so that's a good thing.

Just because it has that back doesnt mean it is a repro cart. The game did come with both backs. even if it didnt come with that back just means it could have been changed out. The board is legit  NES-LT-0 is what you want for the real deal.

The main issue with the scam in question is that they do send a pic of a legit CIB Samson.

OP, did they give you a Paypal email to send to?  

If you're buying this online, copy the image URL and paste it into Google Image search. If multiple perfect matches come up, Stay away. Lots of Samson scams out there.

Also, do not be tempted by tasty cookies.

Nah, gave him my paypal, got an invoice, and just let it sit there.

This question has been asked, over and over and over and over and over again. There are 2 different backs to a little Samson cart, so you're fine, as far as that's concerned. Mine is that older style with less text.
