I love taking pictures, so I try to as much as I can

last night I picked up 2 old polaroid cameras for nothing, a polaroid 220, and 420

the 220 still had 1 shot loaded into it, so I pulled it out not knowing what it was, and threw it in the trash, I was reading the guide and found that it was the negative and picture I pulled out, and you need to peel away the photo from it...bad idea

that thing has been sitting in that camera since about '83 or so, nothing so far has come out in the picture, but good god does it smell terrible

anyone else a photographer, or aspiring to be?

I like to take close up shots of insects and such, theres nothing like being able to look a fly right in the eye.

Wow, great photos! I like the shark one too... especially how the light filters through the water.

Famitek - Hyundai Comboy and other info

I am searching for the Korean version of Phantasy Star 1 (SMS), and any Hyundai Comboy games I might not have. Let me know if you have any for sale or trade!

My mom's got a very practiced hand, she wins all kinds of daily awards and has just about outgrown her Delaware amateur photo club.

She's all over the place on google but those are some good ones. She travels all over the US and Canada, and recently got some great stuff from AK and HI in 2008.

Yep, she crops, plays with the color levels. Generally she doesn't do a ton of true manipulation, but there are some in the Art categories (like the bird-over-sunset) where she will mix-n-match photos for greater impact. Most of her stuff is just touched up right out of "the can."

I called her on one, she had a great fireworks shot, the whole sky looked like it was full of 'em, but I noticed, no smoke. During the big grand finales there's always smoke, either as a backdrop or obscuring the shot. Then I noticed one of the fireworks in the corner was exploding upwards Secrets revealed!

BTW she got a big kick when I told her (at Thanksgiving dinner) that I'd linked to her galleries on the NES site and it was "approved by the 30-something male crowd."

I don't know if I will call myself a photographer, but I do try to take some pictures.
But most of them turn out crap ;-)
