First Rob selling all this cool NWC memorabilia and now Dave showing us all this cool stuff, including the original check for the prize money. It's like NWC Xmas around here. I'm super jealous I grew up in exactly the middle of nowhere in NY and missed out. 

Edit: fanboy questions:

1. How’d you do in Florida?
2. The article says you got a stack of games, what were the others, besides the NWC Gray?

ok so answers to your questions:
1) Finals were supposed to be held in Orlando FL, but because of a fire, Nintendo moved the venue to Hollywood CA. There I had a good game, but just not good enough. Top 30 was as far as I could say I made it.
2) They gave us basic games. Nothing crazy. Rad Racer, SMB, Tennis, etc. Like literally generic games I already had most of lol

Top 30 among the best is no joke! Being a New Yorker it’s awesome the ticket you have is from the Meadowlands.

Yes of course! That is (my now friend since that tournament) Mike Iarossi. He came in 2nd in the Finals and also won the 1994 Powerfest!
