Can't wait! I never owned a Genesis so this will be exciting for me. It's just missing Sonic 3.. otherwise the list is great!

Wish the word-of-mouth would be a little greater on this. Haven't heard the average Joe-schmo say anything about the Genesis Mini. The Nintnedo classic had everyone's wee-wee hard, even if wasn't someone who played video games. They just wanted a way to play "the old games" on newer TVs, and/or to show their kids how it used to be back in the day. This console doesn't have that type of presentation, and if it does, it's not as extreme. Maybe because it's the model 1 Genesis?

I just hope this doesn't go in the way of the PS1 classic. Would make it easy to obtain, but damn.

I'm kind of amazed two games with Disney IP made it on, but looking into it, Sega might still have the license.

The lineup is probably the best out of all the "mini" type consoles. Considering not only the large quantity of games, but also a very high proportion of quality titles to choose from.

Can see a lot of Sega fans paying up for this console, with all the fan faves and a nice stack of RPGs thrown in. Also good to see them select seemingly the best games from their respective series, and not an entire series of the same rehashed games.

I've thought Beyond Oasis is the best Genesis game on the system since I got it back in 1995. Never seen it put into one of these plug and plays

I modded mine but haven't returned to it. It really did leave a bad taste in my mouth, and I spent $31 for it.

Ordered mine over the weekend. I'm not really a Genesis guy, but seems worth it to me. Looking forward to it!

Meh, I might pick one up when it hits 40ish but I'll probably just wind up getting the analogue.

The age of the mini consoles is over. They couldn't give the PS Mini away for $40 when the sales underperformed for it.  The train has come and gone.

No brainer, preordered as soon as I could.

Best Buy had it on sale for $20 free shipping for weeks. Both on their site and on their eBay page.

I'm interested to see if you're right about this or not. Mainly bc the neo geo mini looks so promising and the line up on the Genesis mini is so strong.

This line up of games has gotten me interested in Sega and I've never liked Sega, mainly because of the controller. But Super Fantasy Zone, and Wonder Boy would be awesome to play, plus a few others would be sweet. 

Can I plug my SNES classic controller into this? If so, I'm sold 100%. If not, I'd wait..... maybe buy it if I saw it.  

Honestly, Sega is severely underrated. Should gaming be your interest - I'd recommend the console.
