Hmmm... are we doing away with the Complete set threads then? Seems like a bit of overkill to have those threads maintained if everyone is going to wear a badge anyway.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that was part of the idea.
Also it's to help relieve the amount of icons under peoples names as it looks cluttered at times for certain people...

There's actually many more icons that haven't been uploaded yet but I'll keep quiet because I'm not sure how they plan on rolling them out or if they'll use them all. I don't want to get peoples hopes up or anything.

I still like being able to check in list form who has certain items and how many of a given item/set there is in the NA community. Over time that could probably be incorporated into the award icons, maybe for each award icon there could be a link to a list of everyone who also has that award.

There will probably be a way to search for them, like you can search for people with particular icons already.

Well not everyone who has items chooses to be on those list, just an FYI.  There are many more items within the community that what is disclosed there, especially collectors who have duplicates and try to keep that as confidential as possible.  So don't take it as literal fact for rarity or anything, it's just a list of those who choose to be recognized.

This isn't a full replacement for those lists -- this is just a way people can see at-a-glance how sexy people are

Thanks to Berserker for doing most (all?) of the icon artwork and thanks to Paul for helping divvy them out.

There's a few more we're going to add in the next day or two. At any rate, I thought this would be a fun thing to see next to people's names.

I like the awards idea much more than the icons. They're pretty sweet. It's too bad I don't collect anything hip enough to warrant a reward. Damn you prototypes!

We're going to move several of the "group" icons over to awards ("awards" is tentative as well... maybe we'll call it tchotchke or something more generic).

No, I don't check rarity or anything this way, I just like stalking people's collections. Anyway I like this awards things overall and I can't wait until I get my N64 cart-only award, but it will probably be at least a year before that happens.

Im surprised Dain doesn't have the "Golden Shower" icon. Surely he has peed on himself sometime during the campouts.
