Cartridge Famicom games generally weren't sealed in any way even when they were new, so this'd probably sell for the same as a CIB unless you have some knowledge that the box is indeed new/unopened.

As an avid collector of Japanese games, having seen this kind of "seal" several times, I'm 99.9% sure that it's just the store where this game was bought that sealed it for protection.

Ok I had a feeling it was something like that. I have seen several other seals like this on Japanese stuff before.

Yup as the others have said, if it's sealed then I don't want it. Reseal garbage at best, lol.
