So I am a huge Metal Slug Fan (have almost every game). When I heard of this pirate I knew I had to get one. It took alsmost 8 months but I finally I have it:

It is the first metal slug pirated for the GBC. It has very weird George Bush yelling at Bin Laden cut scenes between levels. All in all a fun little metal slug pirate.

Down to the last 2 Sega Game Gear games I need for the CIB USA set. What I will pay for CIB:

Fantastic Dizzy -$300 & Sports Illustrated -$300

Wow that's cool and I'm surprised to see Metal Slug stripped back to a GBC of all things.

Is there a shot you can take some pics of the game in action and those goofy Bush screaming cut scenes as I'd love to see the quality of this pirated mess.

Nevermind, found a video of it in some foreign language --

Those screen shots on the back of the box have to be from the Neo Geo version, The NGPC was a bit more advance then the GBC and both of the metal slugs did not look that good

Have any acctual in game photos?

Cool pirate though,  I have always been curious on how some of these pirate artists get their artwork ideas.

Watch the video I linked. I have to say I'm shocked as Metal Slug converted just fantastic by whoever that pirate group is that whipped it up.

Ok I was right about the photos, but damn that looks amazing for a GBC game. PRetty good concidering the limits on that CPU and Video processor.

That has to be the craziest artwork I've ever seen. Very cool game. Where did this one come from?

Yeah it's crazy alright, but you'd be surprised by other stuff that is licensed the system has pulled off.  Cannon Fodder, Warlocked, and Dragon's Lair(convert of the laserdisc I kid you not) all on there.

I like how there are just random office building on the cover instead of the world trade center.

That looks awesome. The the translation is pretty wacky though: George Bush "why did you destroy the twin towers and slaughter common people?." lol. How much did it cost you?

I'm tempted to find the rom for that thing and fire it up on goomba with my ezflash. I got no ills about using a pirated game at all as I'm sure they didn't give SNK or Nintendo their cut.

I'm just curious to see how well Metal Slug handles on a GBC, as youtube only can say so much.

The front of the box and the cart label both have the shine, but the manual does not?
