Last weekend I picked up a NES with all the hookups, 2 controllers, an orange zapper, and 9 games for $10. Everything works great!

Got these games in the lot:

Tetris
Super Tecmo Bowl
Super Mario Bros/ Duck Hunt
Bases Loaded II
WrestleMania
Bill Elliot's Nascar Challenge
Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off-Road
Silent Service

Lol!

Thanks.

I live in a big city and it's very competitive when it comes to finding stuff in the wild. The guy at this sale had some nice Sega Genesis stuff but I left all that behind. Right now I'm trying to unload some Sega stuff myself.

Nothing special, but a damn sweet price on it. Good job man.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Silent Service. One of the best games made for the NES. It really keeps you glued to the tv.

For $10 you got a great deal. Is the NES working? If not, it shouldn't be hard to get a new pin connector.

All I ever find at yard sales here are butterfly collars. Then again I don't get out much any more.
Great find.

Yes. Everything works. The cartridge caddy is a little dodgy lol and the pin connector could probably use either the pins tightened or a new 72 pin replacement. After giving the games a good cleaning I was up and running.

Agreed. What a great game! Emmit Smith and Bo Jackson run all over the defense. And that game alone pretty much is worth the lot.
