Why are you buying a bunch of golf carts on ebay? hehe. Even if you do figure it out, I would suggest NOT posting the auction link here or anywhere else for that matter.

Hello!  I want your "ATLUS" stuff!  Please see my list or send me a PM if you have cool ATLUS stuff!

Here's the story:

Back in 1985, Marty Johnson was a little big shot at the drug game. He stashed his profit in his Nintendo collection. $5,000 USD in each one of the original 18 NES releases. His appartment in Cleveland, OH got raided by a cooperation of local and federal law forces. They only found part of his drug money because they never thought to check his NES collection. These games are said to still be around, even though no one can know for sure if not most them got destroyed at some point within the last 25 years.

Based on a true story. Awesome find! Should motivate everyone to open their carts. Some get dollars, others get cockroaches.

Pretty awesome find if in fact this is true, go put that in the bank and sit on it awhile!
Which is why I would be scared shitless to have this.

Hey, I just discovered $5,000 in drug money! Lets go spend it on video games! Pissed off drug dealers? Meh. Who cares!

Nice score... imagine how pissed the original owner was when he couldn't find that cart. People hide cash in the most interesting places.

Wow, amazing find. The bills are all from 1985 or earlier? That makes me think it's less likely to be drug money and more likely to be some old dude's 'bury my life savings in the backyard' mentality. Old dude dies or his kids sell the game because they don't know, and 27 years later it pops up here.

and if you see by the sticker residue this cart has been probably resold a couple of times, say FUNCO or Gamestop

Ah, so you found the secret room, eh? Bask in the glory of a Mario Trilogy, a Pair of Zeldas and a Sextet of Megamans. Yes this is the little grey box that could and continues to do. What lies ahead is entirely up to you. YOU DECIDE

That's a friggin unreal find right there!!

Do yourself a favor if you still have the bills and check the serial numbers for low printing numbers or star notes. If you have a few of them they may be worth a bit more than the face value of the bill. Even more bang for your literal buck.

This deserves a write up on Reddit, or something along those lines.

So how many knuckleheads do you think are going to start smashing carts open hoping to duplicate this?  I can just see it now...
