I played the Wii for the first time on Sunday, and I'm still a little sore!

I bought one at launch but got bored of it so I sold it. However, I'm weird, because most people love the damn thing. If you are thinking about getting one, then I would definitely recommend doing so -- just hope you can find one for sale after black friday.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia!

Sounds to me like the newer games just don't hold your interest. If you sold your DS after a week, there is no way you'll want to keep the Wii. The DS (right now) has a much better catalogue of games. If that couldn't hold your attention for more than a week, nothing will.

I love my Wii, and most newer gen games don't do it for me. I haven't even gotten around to buying any of the VC games yet. Zelda, Metroid, Mario Galaxy, and even Wii Sports are all great fun.

Yeah man, definitely pick up a Wii if you can find one?! They are hard to find these days. The demand is high, and the supply is low once again (way to go Nintendo)! The Wii is sweet! You can buy old school games for it, or play the immersive games out for it now. Here are a list of MUST games: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Wario Ware Smooth, Mario and Sonic Olympics (head to head aspect), Resident Evil 4, Twilight Princess, Trauma Center: New Blood, Zach and Wiki, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Link's Crossbow Training. Then you have Nights: Journey of Dreams, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl coming out soon!!! Later...

I only had a DS for about a week when it launched too. I am glad I waited to get a Wii though. The games are getting better and there are more games to look forward too. At launch the games were Kind of lousy. Anyway, im enjoying my Wii alot now.
