Here are some pics of the 3 Zelda repro games I posted last week. The first 5 are from Ganon's Revenge. The second 5 are from SZD and the last 12 are from Time Crisis: Fall of the Moon. I included more of these because I had not played it much so as I ran across anything that I thought was sweet, I included. Only thing that sucks is I still don't have the first sword but I have the blue ring. Nuts huh? Enjoy!

I'm a little unethusaistic about the enemy sprites in Fall of the Moon. The rest of the conversion looks decent from the screen shots...but the marios look out of place.

The enemies in general in Fall of the Moon are horrible. The graphics are pretty poor too. Remember those small crab looking things that bounce around? On this one, they look like little dots and you can hardly see them.

^^^ SZD is actually really good. SmokinJoe and I are going to tagteam getting a proper review out on that biatch, so you'll know that it's worth your while.

Just beat ganon's revenge. It was a task since I could not find level 2 but I guess common sense would eventually lead you to it. Don't want to ruin it for anyone who ends up beating it but I enjoyed it. Time to try again on SZD.

So can you confirm that Ganon's Revenge is, in fact, just an overworld scramble? Do the dungeons change?

Yeah, its basically an overworld scramble for the most part. There are some different screens and you will notice as you go to familiar areas that you will not be able to go up, down, etc. But it is a lot like the original or I would not have been able to beat it in a couple days. Still fun though because you have to think since the levels are not in the same place and some pieces of the overworld are different but the dungeons are the exact same. Somehow I got lost in Dungeon 9 though because I usually can go straight to the silver arrow and then to ganon, but I screwed around and got the red ring. Now, I gotta start on the second quest.

Kinda looks to "Hackey" and not like a whole nother Zelda.
