I am in need of a motherboard for an NES game. I was cleaning where the motherboard connects to the 72 pin adapter and got some static. The system will no longer power on. I am assuming it is a motherboard that I need. Could be the power button interface I guess. PM me if you have one that is working.

a NES that doesn't light the power indicator 95% of the time a burnt out 7805 regulator.

If you have any GBA signage or kiosk I would be interested. Please send me a PM because I'm only here about once a month now but I'm still VERY interested in large system signage or small playable kiosks related to the GBA.

Is there a way to test the regulator to see if its the problem? Can a new one be purchased?

I was putting the NES back together and my screw driver touch something that caused a spark. I assume the unit's power was not fully discharged.

You can test the voltage regulator easily with a multimeter and it is fairly easy to replace. Just Google 7805 voltage regulator and you should have no problem finding them.
