Currently I don't get any kind of e-mail alert for when someone sends me a private message or for when someone replies to a post i've made. Is there a way to correct that?

Menu -> Profile -> Notification Settings?

make sure your email address is right in personal information and also check spam in case you need to whitelist the NA email address

Okay, I was able to set notifications when I receive a private message which helps a lot, but it seems I can only get notifications when someone quotes me? 

Also, how can I see topics I've created or posted in without just going line by line in the forums?

When you create the topic make sure to check the box to subscribe to the topic. Not sure on topics you've already created.

Lol, all that shit was literally the first thing I turned off when I signed up for NA! Notifications and emails and little red numbers everywhere piss me off, lol!

I leave the transactions one on just in case, the rest I turned off.

If you click on your name, it'll bring you to your profile page where you can pick Threads Started or Threads Posted In under the green More dropdown.

That works for other users too if you want to see theirs.
