Okay, let me explain. For those who doesn't know, the Zelda Oracle games for the GBC has a special feature when played via a Gameboy Advance system:

From my understanding, when playing on some emulators it will default to GBC (which the game is in) so you won't be able to access the Advance Shop. Some mods where made to the game to allow emulators to make it "think" it was a GBA game instead of a GBC one. (Maybe even setting the emulator to have it default to a GBA didn't work? Visual Boy Advance will allow GBC games to play in a GBA mode, which kinda makes this hack a little useless even by emulation standards.)
So now that there's a patched "GBA" rom out there, people are making repros of this game, mainly on Etsy. Knowing that there's some Etsy sellers on here, I just got to know what's the point? I don't mean what's the point of repros in general (that discussion has been done to death), but if you can access everything on a GBA with a normal base GBC game, why make a repro? I personaly think they are cool-looking... is it the novelty?
I dunno, I just like to hear some thoughts (Keep it civil, plz.). TBH, I didn't know the Zelda games even had an Advance Shop until I found these repros going around. lol Let me know if I'm missing something here or any of my understandings are misinformed. I would just like to know out of curiosity.
