I have this R-Type poster that I can't seem to find anything about online. When I check eBay I see either really small versions of the poster or the folded poster that came with the game.

This poster came from an Arcade lot of posters a friend bought years ago and looks like it was rolled, not folded. Anyone have any idea of where this thing came from or what it is worth?

Any text or info in the bottom corners or anything?

Sure it’s not just a poster someone made from the side art from the arcade cabinet? It’s identical from what I see
 

You buried the lead. I'm not used to seeing the classic r-type 1 art associated with the SNES games.

Hmm...it was released on Arcade on 7/1/87 so I guess this is the original arcade poster?

Huh, I didn't realize the arcades were Nintendo.

I believe it's the promotional poster for the US release of R-Type in arcades. Looks really cheesy when compared to the original Japanese artwork but still kinda cool.
