Very computer literate person here-
1st thing make sure your desktop has the latest BIOS, second then go into BIOS and turn off halt keyboard errors and enable USB support for startup, third get another copy of windows since yours might have been corrupted/ scratched.....if you need a DL link I can give you one
Also if you can USE A PS2 keyboard, I keep one around just for this reason, they come in quite handy
