Hi,

I found a weird SNES/N64/NGC AV cable with a power adaptor connected to it, ive had this cable for a few years now and have no clue as to what's it for, I hope one of you know?

The power cable goes into a small hole into the scart plug. It looks like the mold was made like that and not like someone drilled a hole into it and jammed in the wires.

Posting it here hoping to figure out wth this is for

Sorry about the low resolution, my phone's camera hates auto focus and won't work unless there is enough light (like the surface of the sun).

I think it's a device to allow you to hook up red/white/yellow av cables to some other device. The input on the other device isn't powered, so there had to be a power plug to assist it. It's probably for some PDA or mini LCD monitor or something like that.

It's a 9v sony adaptor so you might be on to something, however the plug is clearly a nintendo AV plug for their consoles.

The red white blue plugs plug into a scart adaptor. My guess is the 9v is so the tv automaticly switches to the right channel. (which requires about that voltage on a certain pin)
