so, this is mostly wishful thinking on my part. i ran across this a while back and saved it:

thinking it would be cool to use these graphics in a real nes game. and it took me until today to have the obvious idea of doing a graphics swap for an existing game. championship bowling seems like an appropriate pick, and it appears that's what the artist used as a base for the movie characters.

so, i'm not the artist, and this is still beyond me for development/hacking. anyone want to take the lead?

Digging up an old thread, but I was just thinking about how cool a Big Lebowski NES game could be early this morning, and if I could use my programming skills to try and tackle it. I started digging and saw the 8-bit cinema vid

. Then I came here and saw your post, where this vid did exactly as you described here...crazy.

Seems like it could be incorporate into a real game. Called the Big Lebrewski of course.

I'd be all over a Lebowski game!

Although, there wasn't much actual bowling in the movie. When I think of the perfect Lebowski game, I think of something more along the lines of a Leisure Suit Larry. (Ha, Larry. "We know this is your HW, you little brat, now where's the money?!")

Anyway, yeah something along the lines of a point an click adventure with some dialogue references from the movie, and events that highlight the best parts of the movie.

Wow that was an amazing necro bump. I would like to second this request. A Lebowski bowling game could be amazingly funny and fun.

Point and click with bowling as a central mini-game. Best of both worlds.

That's fucking ingenious, if I understand it correctly. That's a Swiss fucking watch.

The coen bros have commented that the whole film is about a tournament we never see, aka, the next round robin.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

Yep, Jeff Bridges is never even seen throwing a ball. Steve and John are, though.
