Does anyone have a picture of a truly "new" NES controller?  I just got a big lot of stuff and one of the controllers has its cord twist-tied, with that part bagged, and twist-tied outside of that part.  (You can see a very small pic of this in my finders-keepers thread.)

Anyway, although the controller has light scratching on it from being stored with a bunch of other accessories, I think it's new!  I own two CIB NES sets so obviously it has a good home coming its way but I was curious if anyone could tell or show me what a new one is supposed to look like.  (I haven't opened one as new since Xmas '87!)

i saw that one time before, i though it was in a system box? a friend had a control deck system complete and the controllers looked like you described... good luck.

Here's a picture of a new PAL controller.  This is from a seller that has tons of 1st party NOS NES inventory, so while it's not a guarantee that this is how it looked, it's a start.
