When I was looking for information on players choice boxes for N64 it seemed there was no solid list with a picture of all of them together. Here it is:

1080 snowboard
Banjo-kazooie
Cruis'n USA
Diddy Kong racing
Goldeneye 007
MarioKart 64
Starfox 64
Star wars Rouge squadron
Star wars shadow of the Empire
Super Mario 64
Turok dinosaur hunter
Wave race 64
Wcw Vs nwo world tour
Zelda ocarina of time
Yoshi's story

And here are the players choice cartridges:

1080 snowboarding
Banjo-kazooie
Cruis'n USA
Diddy Kong racing
Goldeneye 007
MarioKart 64
Starfox 64
Star wars Rouge squadron
Star wars shadow of the Empire
Super Mario 64
Super smash brothers
Turok dinosaur hunter
Wave race 64
Yoshi's story
Zelda ocarina of time

Edit : while I have them out, here they are beside the non-players choice boxes for comparison.

That one is cartridge only, it never did get a 'gold ribbon' release.

If you can dig up pictures of a gold ribbon box I would love to see them !

Nice. Was looking before for a nice list with pics of all the Player's Choice N64 stuff. I was putting together a list of PC cartridges on here before, including the ones that had two versions (from updating the ESRB logo). Are you also going after those variations, or just whichever of them you can get a nice copy of?

I think there may be 2 or 3 that have esrb variants. I don't have a list on those, and I haven't been looking for them. Do you have a list handy and I can keep my eyes open for them!

I agree with that list (for the individual ones) so there are 15 different titles that have players choice emblems. If you have them all please post a picture. I will post a group picture once I get a yoshi story PC cart in hand.

I know this is an old thread, but I was hoping to get some clarification on this list. Can anyone confirm the following:

Title PC Logo on Box PC Logo on Cart Different Manual than 1st release

007: Goldeneye yes yes no
1080 Snowboarding yes yes no
Banjo Kazooie yes yes no
Cruisin' USA yes yes no
Diddy Kong Racing yes yes no
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time yes yes no
Mario Kart 64 yes yes yes (yellow cover manual; non-PC release had full color cover)
StarFox64 yes (thin box) yes no
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron yes yes no
Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire yes yes no
Super Mario 64 yes yes no
Super Smash Bros. no yes no
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter yes yes no
Wave Race 64 yes yes no
WCW vs nWo World Tour yes no no
Yoshi's Story yes yes no

But...

Can anyone confirm whether these titles have either the PC logo printed on the box, or stickered on the box? Or just on the shrinkwrap? Do any of these carts have the logo?

Bomberman 64: Second Attack
Bomberman Hero
F-1 World Grand Prix
F-Zero X
NBA Courtside 2 featuring Kobe Bryant
Perfect Dark (sticker?)
Pokemon Snap
Pokemon Stadium
StarFox 64 (big box)
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil (box only?)
Waialae Country Club: True Golf Classics

Thanks!
Orri~

Pretty sure I have a PC Waialae somewhere, but I can't find a picture of it ATM.

Smash Bros and WCW are the only cart or box with a printed Player's Choice label that doesn't have a matching component.

The Perfect Dark, Turok 2, etc. Player's Choice versions were only a sticker on the box. You can see this in the red band on the right side of the box. Although, as Jone mentioned, there is a misprint subset. And backwards Banjo, maybe?

Edited for accuracy.

According to the first post WCW vs nWo also has mismatched components. PC box but regular label on the cart.

I can confirm the NBA has a sticker on the shrink wrap.

On a general note, I don’t know if these were applied at the retail level, and potentially could be on any game that a sales associate wanted to put a sticker on. Can anyone confirm if they came from the Nintendo with the stickers on?

Had to check my own, and you are correct.

I’d be interested in this question as well. is there still no definitive list of PC sticker in box/sticker on plastic?
