yeah dude that TSOP should have just been an immediate red flag, yikes. you should report him, but you should also go through his feedback and warn people who bought other SNES in the past cuz they probably got duped too. That's really double shitty that he has a roll of blockbuster security stickers

He already left him a positive feedback, and if I am not mistaken there is no way to reverse it yourself.  If he can win a case agenst the seller he might be able to revoke the original feedback and then he can warn others.

eBay is very biased towards taking buyers backs over sellers, so he should be able to win this

I would call and talk to a CSR and plead your case to a live rep.

yeah, you need to start hounding both eBay and Paypal, if the rep doesn't 'get' what is wrong, get someone higher up on the phone. The longer you sit and wait the worse

If they start an eBay return case, they're gonna

1) Pull the cash back out of the sellers account
2) Ask you to mail the item back to him w/ a tracking number
3) When the tracking says the item is back at the seller's house, they take the cash they pulled out and deposit it to you

yeah, this problem has been discussed on the site elsewhere too though, repro'ing has become so easy that you start seeing shady people trying to scam people who don't know any better. Honestly, I'd never even heard of Hagane, so I'm kinda surprised someone went after that sector of collectors as well. Earthbound on the otherhand is very well known, so I'm sure you've got plenty of joe blows buying the game to enjoy that are unwittingly playing a fake

I have a friend whose #1 item on his search list is this game and just sent him this thread.

I cant even tell how you would know its a repro. What am I missing?

If you're talking about the VOID sticker remnants, the donor he used may have had rental stickers on it.

he would have had to take the stickers apart at some point to put the donor board in, I think it's more likely he somehow obtained them, BB's are going out fo business all over the place so its really not that far fetched

I went to Weapon M's house and saw the game first hand, the black on the label is off and the nintendo seal of approval is none metallic. We open the game up. Once I seen wires, surface mount components and empty desoldered holes I knew it was a FAKE. This guys a total slime bag, hopefully paypal comes through.

the auction shows pics of it with the blockbuster stickers intact. Weapon M peeled them off to open the cart and that left the void goop.
