so... it says sample, have instructions, box, and anything that looks like a sample (nowdays "not for resale" cart) and they are calling it a proto just because?

I got lost there... that, for me, is not a proto, it's more like a sample for magazines, markets or something else...

seems really complete to me

and I read all, pretty strange thread x)

Some/many still consider builds of games sent to press or shops for review to be prototypes. Some can still differ from the final retail release. Prototype doesn't always mean an internal use development cartridge/PCB/disc.

Exactly. Here is my other pride and joy, it says sample but it is still considered a prototype by many. I could never sell this one as I feel it has more value than my A52 proto. I think this was also sent to press or shops for review as well, I could be wrong though. All I am certain of is its large value in $$$.

yeah, but it doesn' have a manual, a box, label, etc etc this looks more like a proto than the Action52 one
"Engineering Sample" also hints "proto" to me x)

Noooow, just address those paper to Mr Holy-SNES and send that package my way please
I can vouch for him, and I hope everyone realizes that our "battle" earlier was just a joke. This is great info, Skylerz! And it enforces some of what I've been saying all along, that there are more than 2-3 of these out there.

You own hundredds of prototypes ? And together they're all worth less than $60k ? You obviously don't own:

or

or

should I go on ? If you did, your collection would be worth a LOT more, add an Action 52 Prototype for only $100k and complete your collection.

This may very well be the greatest post in NA history.  From the list, BeaglePuss and I:

- Own the first.
- Owned and sold the second.
- Own the game loose, thos it is irrelevant because it isn't a prototype.
- Owned and sold a gray NWC for the highest publicly recorded price, though also irrelvant because it isn't a prototype.

Outstanding work!

Someone is butthurt over not owning a wheel of fortune CIB or prototype...

I own Wheel Of Fortune CIB for SNES! Do I get to join a special club?

Sorry, but it's for NES sealed copies only. Of course, what do I know? I can't afford sealed Wheel of Fortunes (guess I won at the game of Wheel of Misfortune instead!! Now only if Burger King paid more )
