This is good news if you liked Mad Max.  Although 2015 is a long ways off.

I'm a big fan of Mad Max and the Road Warrior, and i'm actually looking forward to this one. Looks like a futuristic/steampunk world, which is pretty interesting for a movie.

Mrs. Bumppo and I went to see "The Lazarus Effect" yesterday and we saw a trailer for "Mad Max Fury Road" that we had not seen before.

I am (as it were) revved for this movie.

It looks like it will have the bells and whistles (plus)  of Thunderdome but retain the really hard edge of the Road Warrior.

The first three are U.S. release laserdiscs and the last is a C.E.D. video disc.

The first Mad Max was also released on laser (not sure about a C.E.D. release since I don't collect those).   Unfortunately the laser releases (there was  more than one  -  about 11 all told)  had that godawful AIP dubbed soundtrack.

Had a feeling you'd get the C.E.D.  Neat format, nice for decorations.  That shelf was build by the last owner of our house, eh collected records, so perfect height for CEDs and LDs in frames.

One of the outbuildings on our lot is a really weird split level affair that has a narrow shelf (maybe an inch or so wide) where the two levels meet.  I have about 15 CEDs
on that shelf just for decorative purposes - including that all time classic "Reefer Madness".

I prefer the big trailer, but this one is neat since we get to see a lot of Toecutter. Er, Immortan Joe. Plus, we see more of them badassssssss practical stunts and whatnot. CGI are for wimps.

I will add that is is pretty sweet to see two good shots of the guitar dude on the front of the rig with the albino drummer dudes

I'll be seeing this either way, but 99% on RT with 180 critic reviews seems borderline impossible.

That level of special effects and practical effects in an age of pure CG makes it stand apart, I'm sure.

You betcha. The pure awesomeness cannot be understated. This movie rules and we all need to accept it
