Each game is a separate lot and includes the sleeve.  Sorry to include reserve prices, but it's summer, and people are out on boats drinking beer and missing auctions.  Shipping is free in the US, and $10 to Canada.  Start the bidding wherever you want.  Ends Sunday 7/24, 8pm NA, with ongoing 1-minute extensions on all lots if any bids in final minute of any lot.

High Bids:
Lot 1--VS SMB--$75 (ArcadeJunkie)
Lot 2--SMB 2J--$75 (Fleck586)
Lot 3--Dragon Scroll--$150 (supra1)

Lot 1--VS SMB
(reserve $150)

Lot 2--SMB 2J
(reserve $200)

Lot 3--Dragon Scroll.  Rare but some wear (note the nicked part on the front label and the stick-'em on the top label).
(reserve $250)

I'm a little confused with this format. Wouldn't it be easier to make the reserve price the starting bid?

I can if necessary, but I thought this is the normal way to do it when using reserves.  That way, I can still see what stuff gets bid up to in case the reserve isn't met.  I may have misunderstood, but I thought this was a normal auction type (?)

Let me know though if I need to change it

No problems, I wasn't saying you're wrong, I was just looking for clarification. Thanks for answering. Good luck with your auctions.

on ebay reserves are hidden and the max bid is not necessarily the bid applied. it's not going to make sense here to place a bid below the reserve, because it'll never auto increase and you already know it'll never win.

Since everybody know the reserve, this is conpletly useless to bid under the reserve ;P

Not necessarily.  The seller can still take the high bid if he chooses, but doesn't have to sell if his reserve is not met.  Having said that I bid $75 on SMB2j and Dragon Scroll

I agree with you somewhat, Lincoln, but since NA auctions require public reserves, I figured I'd have to do it this way or start the bidding at my reserves. I chose to do this because that way someone has the option of bidding close to the reserve, which may incline me to lower it or negotiate after the auction in the event that something doesn't sell. Although, realistically, I think these are all reasonable reserves. Basically, I wanted to see what would happen if I tried it this way

Chris is right in his thought process. (I don't mean to derail your auction). I think a FS thread may have been better, but to each their own. No harm done here at all.

No need for further discussion about this, lets keep this to bids only on these awesome hard to find titles from now on.
