Florida is so backwards, i can kill you legally if I'm standing my ground, even if i initiated the confrontation , yet can get arrested for possession of something so harmless as cbd oil.. How does that make sense. ??
Well, not the CBD part, our GNC sells that stuff across from where I work. lol
For the killing part, they have to be coming at you with the intent to kill, like if someone had a gun or they're coming at you with a knife. If you have no means of subduing or retreating, then you have to use any means neccessary to survive. Plus I think about half the US has this law?
all states have a reasonable force self defense law, but im beating the crap out of you, you come at me with knife, i shoot you.. Im protected under stand your ground law. As for cbd, here's a quote from a state attorney. Explaining an arrest in May....". The Farm Bill--signed by President Trump in 2018--legalized hemp and CBD at the federal level. In Florida, it remains illegal without a prescription, although CBD-infused cocktails and shops selling the compound continue to pop up across the Sunshine State..". ... Not shitting on your state, just weird is all.. Fyi. Was born in Fl..
