The only complete one I could find is this one from sosafan that actually sold for $74 shipped.

http://cgi.ebay.com/PACKY-MARLON-SNES-SUPER-NINTENDO-COMPLET...

Is this a 1 time fluke or does it regularly go for this much?  I know its a fairly rare game, but at the same time unpopular. I'm trying to figure out what mine is worth. Looks about the same but without that tear in the box.

It seems a little high for that game. Those Raya Systems games used to be really cheap a few years back. I picked this and Rex Ronan up Factory sealed for $50 total. I think that was about 7 years ago though.

Just look at the seller, definitely a fluke. Sosa intentionally prices his items high and is willing to let them sit. But then again, that box is kind of beat, so maybe a MINT one would sell for even more.

Well, that explains a lot.
I was on eBay yesterday and noticed some overpriced stuff and was thinking the guy was on crack.
Then I saw the name and I was like: Hm... Pretty sure he's a member here. What's his deal?

Thats what I was thinking, but I couldn't access any other completed listings to compare it too. Does anybody know how often this comes up/its rarity? I think the NA database has it as a 7.

Same.   This is one of the few SNES games I've never had in my possession. Hell, I can't even remember seeing it before.

I sat on this a whopping a 10 hours. Maybe I priced it too low? I couldn't find any to compare to so I guessed high and one of my regular Brazilian buyers bought it. It might not have sold so fast if I had left the $14.95 sticker it had on it I had never had this one complete before

Pretty hard to come by then huh? I guess it was well worth the $4.50. Thank you Goodwill.

I bought a Sealed one about 2 years ago for $50.

BTW, sosafan, you have alot of stuff i would buy. If you ever want to lower some of those prices to a reasonable level i would take a bunch of games off you.

Well, when you have as good of a reputation as Sosa and 6000+ items in your store, you probably want to raise the prices a bit just so you don't have to ship 100+ things a day. I know I would get tired of that real quick.

Actually, compared to some of the other people that sell mass quantities of snes games on ebay, I thought sosafan2's prices to be pretty reasonable. I have bought quite a few games off of him and they were all way better quality than the games I got from Lukie.

I'm going to bump this old thread, because I have the same question. I literally can't find any evidence anywhere of one selling recently and it seems like this game is rarer than most people give it credit for.

I have the opportunity to buy a CIB Packy and Marlon for $30. Everything is in excellent condition (probably 8-9 out of 10) and it comes with the original poster as well. I'm not buying to resell, just for my personal collection, so if it is worth 20-30% more than that I'm a buyer. Thanks.

At $30 that's a no brainer buy. SNES Finder has one on eBay at $100 starting bid, $110 Buy It Now and I'd say that's a fair price. Either way, definitely in the $75-$100 range IMO.

Aww leave sosafan alone. He may price stuff average to high, but he's the only ebay mass reseller I've ever had treat me right and even clean up errors no less.

*Definitely* pick it up. I took the hard route and pieced my Packy and Marlon together. It took me a long time to find a nice box. Easily a $75-$100 game imo.

well a pachyderm is an elephant.... hence "Packy".   I guess they couldn't come up with a second witty name so they went with Marlon heheh

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

Okay, I picked up the game tonight... I was actually able to talk them into giving me a Games 'N Go membership card free with the purchase (normally $10), this is cool because I'll get 10% off any purchase there from now on and 10% more trade in credit (they have 4 locations).

The game comes with all the original inserts including a poster in excellent condtion. There is actually a sticker on the front of the box which I'm cautiously trying to remove, hopefully I'll get it off eventually. I was kind of upset about the sticker for about 30 minutes until I went to game store number 2 and found Exertainment Mountain Bike Rally/Speed Racer for only $10!!! That kind of made me not care too much, lol.
