By popular demand, it's my pleasure to announce the NintendoAge Price & Collector's Guide: Expanded Edition! Expanded in both information as well as functionality, you get three month's worth of price information in a convenient spreadsheet format, which you can easily access on your desktop as a collector's reference and checklist, or upload to your palm device or phone for all of the information you need on-the-go.

Features:

  • Simple .XLS spreadsheet format, usable on palm devices as well as on a PC
  • Three-month price tracking, including a calculated gain/loss column
  • Rarity information that matches the NintendoAGE.com database
  • Fully unlocked and customizable for users to modify for any personal use

If you want to tweak, reorder, rename or sort anything differently, you've got the freedom to do so within Excel - sort by rarity to know which titles are must-haves, sort by price so you don't waste money on worthless commons, or sort by which ones you have in your collection already so you can work with a shorter, easier list of games.

The price for this month's digital download is $5.00 USD. PM me for payment instructions, at which time I'll open a NintendoAge transaction so you can benefit from the feedback, as well. Requests will be handled promptly. The newest Expanded Edition is ready and waiting!

To address one big concern in advance: we will still release the price guide in future months for free within the e-Zine PDF file, tandem to these electronic versions. Whether you choose to buy only one every three months to archive all of the information, or you'd like the new copy each month so you have the most up-to-date information for hunting in the wild, it's money well spent.

Thanks for respecting our usual copyright requests!

Soooo... In another thread, you wanted everyone to pay you $1.50 per cart to have their games cleaned by you, and that was reasonable, yet getting 3 months of extremely well organized prices for the system for $5 isn't kosher? I don't get it.

How dare I charge for a more functional version of my hard work.

Just like those rat bastards that charge for repros, when you can just get the rom for free. Assholes!

$5? dan, you are a worthless member to this community who never contributes anything at all. all you do is post stupid shit and ask for $1.50 per cart for a cleaning job (where you will probably just use the NES cleaning kit, run it over the connections a few times, and be done with it). on top of that, i just wanted to let you know that most of the members on here have posted you as their first member of their "foe" list... oh wait, sorry dan, i wasnt thinking of you, i was thinking about someone else! my bad!

-------------------------

Look, if you don't like the things that I post, don't PM me about it and don't start a war in a thread. Just FOE ME so you don't have to read my posts! That's why Dain put it there! Use it!!!

Ha ha, eBay is as good.  How would you figure out which of the top rarities have gone down in price since June using eBay?  How can eBay even tell you which carts are rarity 8-10?  This is in excel so it is so easy to sort or make cool charts.

I realize it adds lots more complexity, but are there plans to expand this to CIB games and CIB systems?  I can't remember if that was mentioned in the ezine...

Another suggestion would be to make the game names into links to the database.

If I was actively collecting right now, I'd be all over this to check it out! I've been doing other stuff though, so I haven't been 'baying lately. Good job putting it all together though man, it must keep you pretty busy!

If your time is worth nothing then that could be so.  Personally, the hours of time spent price tracking that this list saves me vastly outstrips a mere $5.

but for only 30 days, not 3 months....30 days doesn't show any trends at all on rarer items that are rarely listed.

Just use the free version in each e-Zine. For all casual users the free one is just fine. Jason's is a good rule of thumb for sure though.

The digital download isn't for everyone. Thanks for considering though.

I'll be adding PAL-exclusive stuff in a month or two, but it's virtually impossible without scrutinizing each pic to find values for PAL games that also have matching NTSC titles.

November's ready for you!

I made a homepage with an instant payment button by popular demand. I hope to be reviewed on an electronic gaming site in the next month, I'll be sure to post a link when it's a done deed. And if it's a good review

Thanks again to all, I'm glad this was worth my time!

With all due respect, you can find one free here:

http://www.videogamepricecharts.c...

Autmatically collects 90 day data from eBay / Amazon / half.com to see the going price of a title. Obviously, this has limitations (doesn't account for manuals / boxes, and if the game is really rare and wasn't sold in the past 90 days then it won't show up), but it is still good.

I hope I don't get bashed for this, I just want to help you guys out!
