I just picked up the new Brother Ali ep "The Truth is Here". It's fantastic. If you're into indie rap in any way, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Good stuff! I don't encounter to many people who are listening to King Crimson. Long live progressive music!

At this second I'm listening to...

I was watching the movie "Everything is Illuminated" the other day, and it reminded me that Gogol Bordello is one of the best bands ever. Check 'em out if you're into punk or.... Gypsy music.

I almost always have music playing while I'm at home, or on the iphone when I'm out and about. I probably listen to 200-300 songs a day.

Terry Reid - Superlungs, Dream, Bang Bang, July (probably my fav song of all time)
The Lost Fingers - Part Time Lover
NOMEANSNO - the whole "Wrong" album
Royal Trux - Inside Game
BeeGees - Emotions

I'm glad this thread was brought back, I've never read it before.

Dethklok is awesome and so is Metalocalypse, i think its one of the best shows on adult swim aside from The Venture Bros.

All sorts of classic death metal bands from the early 80's on. Also been listening to Necro, Ill Bill, Three 6 Mafia (Mystic Stylez and The End). I've also been listening to a lot of Megadeth recently (some of the older stuff). I found a Dio "Greatest Hits" and a Blood For Blood "Outlaw Anthems" CD at a flea market, so I've been listening to those as well.

Blood Red Throne - Dream Controlled Murder. Yesterday was all about Spawn of Possession. Modern death metal goes now, also some Steve Vai and random stuff.
