After Han, Hubs, and Hekl complete their own adventures, King Zardrik called on each of them to go to Estoscerro, the labyrinth plateau that is shrouded in mystery. The king believes this place holds the fabled Candelabra. An item said to have the power to bring peace to the once warring kingdoms.

Candelabra: Estoscerro is a 3-D style, action-adventure, dungeon crawler in which the heros from The Mad Wizard, The Scarlet Matron, and The Warlord Slayer band together in a quest compelled by the king. Exploration within a maze environment while battling fantasy-setting enemies are the fundamentals. Your journey will be complete upon reaching the plateau's top and finding the Candelabra.

The game is uniquely played with two NES controllers, one in each hand, or with a modified Virtual Boy controller (Similar to SoleGooseProductions Spook-O-Tron). Diagrams of the controller format are pictured, but further depth can be found in the game manual, which is built into the game, or available online on the Sly Dog Studios website HERE.

You may ask... I've played The Mad Wizard and The Rise of Amondus, but what is The Scarlet Matron and The Warlord Slayer? How are they intertwined?

Amondus, Tyrant to the land of Prim. In The Rise of Amondus, you play as the evil being himself, taking over Prim, the home land of Hekl! Hekl, being Amondus' biggest threat, is brought to his knees as the local goblin population and General Rant, the leader of the gargoyles are brought to follow under the rule of Amondus.
The Mad Wizard, Where we really get to meet Hekl. His battle with Amondus continues. You get to play as Hekl, as he builds back his wizard powers, defeats the enemies Amondus populated through the landscape, and gains the strength to bring peace back to Prim.
Yet to be explored are the individual adventures of Hubs and Han, Mother and father of the First-Born. Look for SlyDogStudios future releases of The Scarlet Matron and The Warlord Slayer, to learn about what drives Hubs and Han to fight, and the demise of Sarah!!

The Controller concept is awesome. I need to modify more of the controllers I have so others can enjoy the feeling of it!

Been waiting on this one for a long time. And yes, definitely seems worth doing the VB controller.

I gotta be honest. I played the demo, and I couldn't figure out the battle system. I played 4-5 runs and couldn't survive 1 battle.

Gotta devise a strategy. What worked best for me was learning how often the enemies attack and leaving one of my own fighters as defense to block incoming attacks, until I've wittled it down to one enemy left, then I sort of unleash on him.

Some tentative ideas for box art. Plan is to release Estoscerro as an individual game, with individualized box art in the same fashion as The Mad Wizard and The Rise of Amondus was released, following the theme of the beginnings of the Candelabra Epic.
As a possible tier in a Kickstarter, The thought of releasing the trio in Black-Box themed packaging was brought up as an option.
Enjoy some Mock-Up ideas

Held vertically. You really won't use the A and B buttons besides to revive, which you won't do all that often.

This looks incredible! Can't wait to play the full game.

Is there still a way to purchase a modded virtual boy controller?

There will hopefully be options for that. Unfortunately not right off the bat.
A tutorial for modifying a VB controller will be posted here soon.
I know there are a couple other parties that have purchased extra controllers to help make availability a little better as well.

Also having an actual artist finishing up some graphics, so it'll actually look good lol

Consider my calendar marked! I have a question about bundle options: I have the carts to Mad Wizard and Rise of Amondus, so I don't want to buy CIBs of them, but I love the box art you've posted. Do you think you will include an option to buy the boxes on their own?

I don't know how I just saw this.
That's a good question, and one I had not thought of. I will have to see what options may be possible for that one.
