This was posted over at NESworld but it is to cool not to post here. A guy has made a NES music album that is actually on a NES cart. It is $22 bucks shipped and can be ordered of his site Link I don't know how many he has made or will continue to make so you may want to snag one fast if you are interested. There are links at the bottom of the page to take a listen on youtube and links to his myspace page as well.

Great collectors piece IMO, I already ordered one. Enjoy

Question is, does he ship to Canada? I noticed it's a flat rate shipping fee. I'm totally gonna buy a couple of them.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Thanks for the tip.  Just ordered mine as well.

It will be interesting to use the NES for music while doing other things...hope I don't overheat it!

I know Speedy picked one up as well, and he lives over in Europe, so I would assume he does ship to Canada.

I would have past on this one if the price tag was any higher.  Will be a nice conversation piece and the music from what I've heard is not half bad.

Got one copy in. I paid for two though, so I sent him a message. But the cart I did get is quite enjoyable! Definitely worth picking up!

I got one in the other day and happened to read his blog -- he wanted to say "thanks" to all the people who ordered because it allowed him to pay rent

Cool!  Glad we could help someone out in the NES community.  I really have enjoyed this cart.  Hopefully we will see new things from Alex.

7. They're all original tracks, and as far as I can tell there is no other way to get the tracks. I kinda like it myself.

Just got mine today.  It's a really neat addition to the collection, for certain.

A lot more depth to some of the songs that even the best tracks from Capcom or Konami.

And thanks guys BTW I'm glad I'm "making the grade" as an amateur journalist hehe. Really my favorite part of the process is seeing the posts explode afterwards, really galvanizes the community and makes for a great read and exchange of opinions.

Yep Alex had some interesting things to say, he really came through and it should be a fun read.
