Having an odd issue with the AVS.  With the controller in port one, every time I press up the screen flashes solid red if I hold the button down.  Then If I release it and press up again it goes solid green.  This happens regardless of what kind of cartridge is in, and what controller I am using.  Any thoughts?  Is there a way to do some kind of hard reset on the system?  I have tried unplugging it completely and the issue keeps happening.  

Factory reset is with a controller in port 2. Press and hold up, select, start, a and b, and while holding those, hit reset.

What firmware are you using?

You set the cheats toggle to the up button.
