Mine got stuck the first time too. It just hit a point and didn't want to slide nicely. I just kept working it left to right and finally it just worked out. Good Luck!

Well if we can ID what the hell to twist and turn to center that screen better I'll crack it open again, but since the NES runs solidly I'm not going to risk doing anything stupid to it accidentally.

Well, decided to read the manual again and found that there is a switch to do it. If you read on page 9 of the PDF/Manual it tells you how to adjust Horizontal and Vertical. If you go down to page 16 and 20 it gives the description of the board (PWB C) the controls are on.

Yeah I saw it, just wasn't able to ID it on the chart vs what it would look like in reality on the literal board. I'll just have to wait for a pic or start trying to muster up the will to open it and give it another stab but don't want to make it worse.

I'll let you know for sure when I figure it out. I am going to have my buddy give me a hand when he gets back from his vacation. He has a little more experience than me with this stuff. Until then, hands off! haha

I've never even seen something like this way cool...I just seen a super famicom version I'd kill for..grats man on your find!
