Hey guys, i'm new on this forum, i was told you could help me, so I just ordered some 29LV320 to Snes Adapters to make some repros. I'm using a Hi-Rom donor to make Chrono Trigger, patched my rom, flashed it successfully and soldered it on the cartridge, my donor only has 32 pin maskrom so i soldered A20 on pin 45, A21 on pin 46, A22 on pin 47 and added a jumper on maskrom pins 36 and 34 but it just shows a black screen. What could it be, i'll post pictures in the future.

29LV320 is a 3.3V IC and needs to be down shifted from 5V in order to work properly and not get damaged. I don't see anything to solder them on the board. Usually this is done with a AMS1117 3.3V + 100nF capacitor. Or 2x 1N4148 Diodes, cheap and not recommended but does work for testing I guess.

Pictures would be helpful.

P.S. Another thing I discovered with 29LV640 is, that programming the game you need to swap the lower and upper 32MBit because the IC obviously swaps those after programming. I'm not sure if 29LV320 works the same (except with 16MBit only).
