Well I have a very interesting opportunity that just arose.  I have a guy that is emailing me back and fourth wanting to sell some of his doubles (the fact that he is just sitting on 2x funtastic consoles and more is awesome to me).  I am very interested.  He wants to sell everything in the two pictures, as well as 7 jumper paks, 2 expansion paks, 6 A/V and power adapters, and 6 controllers: gold, solid green, jungle green, solid yellow, gray, clear smoke.  I wish each of the consoles had at least one matching controller, but you can't win 'em all.  I am curious as what is a fair price to snag this lot (guy is a collector but said he will allow a price for me to make some coin reselling), also I'll be keeping about half of the consoles as I've been wanting a funtastic set.  I know what everything is worth, and I have a decent idea what I am going to offer, yet I guess I just wanted to hear what you guys think.  Here are the pictures:

Some great games in there but the real shine is all those different console variations in one fell swoop. Depends on how much you value N64 stuff honestly and the convenience of getting them all together at once. I don't have a solid value for you as I don't heartily follow N64 valuations but broad estimate is $500+ to me.

Yeah the whole "one fell swoop" aspect of it is what is defiantly drawing me in.  

 

Yeah I think I'd like a jungle green and watermelon color one and I remember buying an ice blue controller back when I got the n64. The thing that kills me is I remember when the wal-mart up at my college had all the colors clearanced for $50/each. I already had one and wasn't that into the N64 so I thought meh forget it. Obviously, like so many others, looking back I should've tried to take out a small loan to buy out the inventory. Crazy times

with all those games 500 seams like an insult, just be a gentleman and say 30% off the going rate or something like that.

I was thinking of offering $650-750.  This allows me to make a bit reselling all the games (as I already have all the good titles in my collection), the extra paks and controllers, and a few of the consoles.  Yet more importantly it allows me to basically get a free funtastic set which is more important to me than making a good profit when it comes to this deal.

That sounds more reasonable, the guy knows what he has and he has played this collecting game as well, so giving a low offer when he openly said he doesn't mind a bit of a deal could adversly affect this deal. I was being very liberal with the cart prices and there is over 500$ there alone.... I don't think he wants to give all his hardware away for free, but hell even 2 funtastics free is a decent deal and you could bundle them with the carts. Bam you got some your cash back and have some consoles for your collection Its a win win for both of you and thats probably what will unfold

Kinda thought this was a troll thread because of all the awesome coloured systems.

No troll thread. He asked for $800 before I could offer; this was as high as I would be willing to pay. I came back with $680, and I'm hoping to meet somewhere in the middle (even though he hasn't contacted me in 10 hours or so which is worrying me). We shall see!

Thanks man.  Just talked to him again; I'm paying $725 for the N64 lot, and then another $15 for a NES max controller, snes controller, and 4 or 5 NES commons.  I'll post pictures of it all when I return from the deal!

Nope, he contacted me thru a CL wanted ad I have posted in the Metro Detroit area.

That's a nice bundle! If you're looking to part with the clear black controller let me know! I have the clear black system and 3 clear black controllers, been wanting a 4th to have a full set!

I'm actually keeping that controller and the gold one as I don't have those colors in my collection.  Sorry mayne.
