I have The Legend of Zelda Gold cartridge. I was looking at other forums and saw some interesting things about the particular game I have. On the back of the game the "Caution' is underlined and it has "Rev-A" on the corner of the sticker. It has 3 screws instead of the usual 5. If anyone could help me out with telling me what I have it would be greatly appreciated.

There's only one way to truly know if you have a purple ganon, and that's to play through the entire game. Once you make it to the end you will fight Ganon and he will be purple. If not the your copy is only worth aboot $10.

Both of these guys are jerks. That game is just south of 500

I read another post from someone who supposedly had the same game. Is there someplace I can take it to get it checked out? Or possibly sell it?

You have to play through the game twice, purple Ganon shows up at the end of the 2nd quest.

Also, you can't cheat and enter "zelda" as your name to start on the 2nd quest. It must be done from the very start.

OH MY FUCKING GOD. You hold the holy grail of gaming, that's worth at least 500 dollars. You do, however, have to play through it twice to find out. Also, I heard a rumor that you have to do it with only 3 hearts and without the sword to find out for sure. Let us know, that is worth a fortune! If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick that up?

Dude I'm dead serious about buying this. You don't have to check, I've researched this for months. Any NES Zelda with 3 screws, underlined Caution, and a REV-A is definitely the purple ganon.
