Again, linking to some Wiki page is not evidence. There is nothing more substantiative than in the IGN page that I discredited in the first place. We have interviews with both Miyamoto and Dylan Cuthbert explaining that Super Mario 64 was influenced by the development of Star Fox but never have they said that a 3D Mario game was ever in development for the SNES using the Super FX chip. The Wiki page in that link presents no evidence that a SNES version was in development, though it does show common images of the alpha/beta version for the N64.

No need to get frustrated. =) But you got your answer. You asked; you got your answer. When you get an answer supported by evidence and dislike the given answer, don't get upset or not accept it just because that's not what you wanted to hear - you asked and now you know. 

I mean, initially, I hadn't even heard of it at the start of this thread. I considered the Super Mario wiki and IGN, but the guys here have much more substantial evidence, not to mention they're just much more knowledgeable in general. So I was swift to believe them.

But I will admit, it's fun to entertain the thought of there being a 3D Super Mario World on the SNES.

Guys, I think if I see any more chiding towards or from any of you, I'm just going to ban and remove your accounts, along with any data in them. Grow up already and enjoy this place for what it is, and stop ruining it for others, like me.
