A question for PAL enthusiasts. If a game has no code but has "European Version" written on it is this game region free across PAL A & B territories?

I guess that the first games so the small box games where code free so they should work on a PAL A system as well as on a PAL B one ...

It's not quite as straight forward as that because FRA code games work in both PAL A and PAL B.

Nikki, I think you're probably right, that's the suspicion I had.

A slightly different question; did all "European Version" games come in those small boxes?

No, France, Autralia, UK and Italy f.e. never got small box games. In Spain they where called "spanish version" but donT know why they make an exeption there... Also some "European Version/ Spanis Version" games like Rad Racer or Baseball where never released in small boxes - I didn't saw it yet at least also didn't hear some hoaxes about...

Spain got both small boxed ones and usual size (both art covers) - exeption no smal box of Baseball and Rad Racer. Also never saw a 10 Yard Fight as smal box version - what a pity I bet it would look damn cool I will make a pic of my small box games and the other black box stuff I got when I find the time for!
