Well as some of you know there has been rumors that the NWC cart has FINALLY been Reproduced with a correct timer. Well for the last 3 months or so ive been in talk with the guy who has been making it happen. And ive waited anxiousely for it to get finished. Well now that time is "almost here" But for those of you who see this and are like "OMG!!!! i need one i need one!!!" DO NOT WORRY!!! For the guy who is gonna be making these is a member of this great site! And he told me he will be going LIVE with em next week hopefully! And they should be available to everyone. Im gonna hold out on any more info and let him take over on that.

As for his carts, ive seen pictures and they look great, but i do not believe they are done yet. His will look totally different than this one. Im just getting an early run board from him. But he will be making his own cart and own label for it. So in the meantime i took a cart of my own and took it into the body shop i work at and painted it a very nice Metallic Gold, i used a basecoat clear coat, and painted it with professional Car Paint. And then used a scanned label of the NWC, printed it on sticker paper. And laminated it, and stuck it on

What i got is a perfect mixture of the Gold NWC and the Grey NWC Cart Combined!! Whatta ya guys think! Pretty sexy eh?

I kinda made the top of the label a little short (cutting with scissors SUCKS) But it still came out pretty sweet i thought. Anyways the cart is empty at the moment and im just waiting for the "guts" to arrive. They are in the mail and should be here monday, well i guess tuesday because of the holidays. I cant wait! For those curious it is gonna be Exactly like the original NWC cart and have a set time at 6:21 (the official time i believe) The only thing that makes it not exactly like the NWC is there are no dip switches (at least yet) i have no idea if he will ever make them with it. But still will be almost just as good and for a fraction of a real NWC. :-) Time to get stoked everbody!

I might need to have you print me out a custom label for my game.  If it has that NES feel and high  image quality...

Hot damn! I can't wait. If there's a list, put me on it.

I remember talking to a dude who makes repros a long while back and he seemed to think NWC repros would never happen. Awesome that it has.

Hey guys! Yep Yep Yep. Gonna be Awesome!!! Hey after a few people get their hands on some, maybe ill start a thread with like a 2007 NWC competition. and everyone on the boards should compete, and we'll keep track of the peeps who have gotten the highest score. take a pic and post it. That should be fun!

Oh and Dan yea some time next week the guy who is making these will surely post about em ;-)

As for this one pictured above, its the only one that looks like this because i custom made it. I believe the ones hes gonna be selling come in a blue cart with colored label. Looks cool too.

That is nice, indeed.  I'd like to have a similar case and label with mine, as well...though I know you customized it yourself, Parpunk..but still.  I'm anticipating the price, as well.  Please keep us informed .

This is very interesting. I'll be interested to see how it's engineered. I wonder what mapper it's put on or if he had to customize a board, etc. I have a feeling if he's truly done this, that it was a tough undertaking.

I dont really know anything about repros.  Why is this one difficult to make.  What is so different from all the other repros?

^ I'm sure you've seen what a standard NES PCB looks like, so imagine what it would be like trying to reproduce this:

null

-------------------------

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

Yea morbis is right. i cant even imagine how much work it took to get this thing right. Also the timer in the game is what supposebly made it so hard to make.
