I am pretty sure our exquisite and most qualified players here will destroy and no death Sunset Riders by the time the contest is over.

I've tried and tried and I can't beat the first level in Sunset Riders.

EDIT: I beat the first stage _once_ and then died very quickly on the next stage.

We can change the Sunset Riders rules so that you all will play on normal instead if you guys prefer.  

You probably should. I tried normal and the difficulty is much more reasonable. I was able to make it past the first boss.

Then I quickly ran out of continues trying to figure out the second stage.
 

It is done.
I have changed the rules for Sunset Riders to "play on normal" rather than "play on hard".
Now I am 200% sure everyone will no death it this month.

I notice that the speed of enemy bullets is dramatically faster when playing on hard. That would be for those who've already mastered the game on normal.

I spent hours playing level one on hard and was close to beating it. Now everything is slow as fuck and I'm playing worse than before😂

Hey now, it’s not all that easy for me now. It’s not as hard as it was but it’s still pretty difficult to me. I’ve loved playing games and have played them almost my entire life. I’m “good” at some games only because I’ve played them religiously for many years. People like you, Bea and others have some crazy ability to beat, no-death, one life and whatnot almost every game on a regular basis. Im
in awe every week/month what you all can do. Well played! I’m looking forward to Bea’s mod score.

Two weeks from now they will all be begging me to change it back to hard because they just won't be able to get enough of Sunset Riders, have no-deathed and killed all the enemies in normal and need the challenge.  
 

These are actually the two games I have played most over the past few months. For both of these, but sunset riders especially, I would recommend playing through it on the easy setting, with max lives and continues on SR, first. You will probably beat it first day or so and get an idea of all the bosses patterns and some of the flukier parts on the levels. Once you've done that, normal wont seem like a very big step up, just fewer lives. There are no added enemies and the speeds are only moderately faster.

These are two awesome games and they are very fair overall. For the people who do these contests every month, this should be a very fun one.

I bet gloves is actually good at sunset riders and only wants it on hard to get his guaranteed win. Sneaky whining there gloves.

I've never played sunset riders solo before. This game is much harder without a partner
